Gas-liquid separation internals
Generally used to remove droplets carried by vapour streams in order to reduce the loss of expensive products, increase product purity, prevent mechanical damage and the corrosion of downstream equipment and reduce pollution of vapour waste into the atmosphere.
VICO-Tex®

  These are special mist eliminators, made from layers of mesh specially arranged to obtain a cellular structure.

These are axial flow cyclonic droplet separators. Separation takes place thanks to the centrifugal force on the gas by a helicoidal structure at the inlet to each element.

These are vane droplet separators working with vertical gas flow.

Liquid-liquid separation internals
Generally used to increase separation efficiency between two immiscible liquid phases, in order to reduce the loss of valuable products, increase the purity of each phase, prevent corrosion of downstream equipment and reduce pollution due to products that are released into the surrounding environment.
VICO-Pack sloped plate coalescer

They are made of a group of sloped parallel vanes that reduce the 'settling' distance of the dispersed phase droplets present in the continuous phase.

These are made up of several layers of special crinkled wire meshes arranged to give a coalescent effect cellular structure.

Inlet distributors
Inlet distributors

Inlet distributors are installed on feed inlet nozzles of horizontal or vertical separators, to allow a uniform distribution of fluids in the inlet area and promote a primary separation of dispersed phases.

Flow equalisers
Flow equalisers

Flow equalisers are normally installed in horizontal separators to uniformly distribute liquid and vapour streams, break waves, remove any foam on the surface of the liquid, and cause pre-separation of larger droplets carried by the vapour stream.

Sand removal systems are mainly installed in wellhead production separators to remove sand deposits from natural gas and oil fields without having to stop the equipment.
