Vertical gas-liquid separator
Typical vertical gas-liquid separator equipped with vane feed inlet distributor, VICO-Tex® wire mesh agglomerator and VICO-Spin. The combination of VICO-Tex® wire mesh agglomerator and VICO-Spin presents two main benefits: - High separation performances thanks to the agglomeration effect of the wire mesh pad - High turndown ratio: at high gas velocities the wire mesh pad acts as agglomerator and the VICO-Spin separates the agglomerated droplets, at low gas velocities the wire mesh pad operates as separator and the VICO-Spin performs the final separation. This combination of internals is widely used in gas compression trains or for retrofitting of existing equipment.
Horizontal gas-liquid separator
Typical horizontal gas-liquid separator equipped with vane feed inlet distributor, three perforated plate calming baffles, VICO-Straightener, VICO-Vane droplet separator and sand jetting system. A combination of several perforated plates calming baffles mitigate the effects of sloshing in separators located on floating units. The design of this equipment is normally performed with the aid of CFD simulation.
Horizontal liquid-liquid separator
Typical horizontal liquid-liquid separator equipped with perforated pipe inlet distributor, perforated plate calming baffle and VICO-Pack. The presence of a VICO-Pack allows treatment of a slightly foul fluid stream. In the case of clean fluid, a VICO-Tex® COALESCER instead of a VICO-Pack allows higher separation performances to be obtained.
Horizontal gas-liquid-liquid separator
Typical horizontal gas-liquid-liquid separator equipped with cyclonic inlet distributor, perforated plate calming baffle, VICO-Pack, anti-turbulence slats, VICO-Straightener, VICO-Vane droplet separator and sand jetting systems. Horizontal gas-liquid-liquid separators equipped with this combination of internals are widely used when gas and liquid loads are quite high and the separation of liquid-liquid primary dispersion is required. This is particularly suitable for offshore and FPSO application and for retrofitting of existing equipment.
