The VICO-TUG belt consists of wire links connected by means of connecting rods. It is usually sprocket or wheel driven. Special chains can also be mounted to suit particular applications or specifications. VICO-TUG can be made by tightening the links, or by placing spacers between the links, such as washers, sleeves or small springs. It is classified according to the pitch of the links and the rods, their diameter and the type of selvage. Welded selvages are normally used for VICO-TUG belts. They can also be supplied with driving chains and guard edges. VICO-TUG belts are mainly made of carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steels.
